Pistakee Bay Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)3 foundation committed to producing innovative solutions to social problems by contributing financial resources to select underserved initiatives and non profit organizations while promoting individual social responsibility and leading future generations in philanthropy.

Through the creation of foundation endowments, Pistakee Bay Charitable Foundation supports its mission priorities and augments the financial resources of a portfolio of beneficiaries. In addition, we mobilize volunteers through community outreach programs and host unique social engagements to inspire individuals of like mind who care about people and their communities.

With the current state of the economy and fiscal climate we recognize the need for additional financial support for local worthy causes. Pistakee Bay Charitable Foundation is an organization striving to engage individuals, businesses and public & private organizations to invest in worthy causes while reaping the benefits of their philanthropic posture through networking, visibility, personal gratification, and unique social engagements.

Johnsburg Lions Club
The Johnsburg Lions were formed over 20 years ago here in our little Community of Johnsburg. Club members are men and women who strive to make a difference in their local community. Their volunteer efforts go beyond the support of vision care, to addressing unmet health, education and individual needs.

McHenry Area Youth Commission
The mission of the McHenry Area Youth Commission (M.A.Y.C.) is to “Keep healthy kids healthy” by sponsoring prevention programs for youth that promote responsible choices about drugs, alcohol, violence and gang involvement provided through a community-based linkage of educational, governmental, and human service agencies within the McHenry and Johnsburg area.

Pistakee Bay Charitable Foundation's 2010 Individual Grant Recipient is R.B. McCallister, a long time Woodstock resident and local artisan recently diagnosed with demyelization, a disease that impairs nerve signals between the brain and spinal chord.
